Facing our fears teaches us stuff, important, life changing stuff! Each tough situation give us confidence.
I can look back over the last 8 years of my life and divide it up between my unhappy and my happy phases. They all share the same pattern. I can see when I was fearful to make changes I stagnated, procrastinated and was unhappy. When I challenged myself and faced my fears I experienced huge relief, I felt happier.
Using what I had learnt from personal experience, yoga practice and some coaching techniques, I now do this one simple thing whenever I feel fear rising.
Fear held me back from pursuing things in life that I really wanted, I have learnt that facing my fears allows me to embrace life and spontaneity.
